DIVERGE is the first study of depression genetics in Pakistan and one of the largest studies of its kind in the world. It aims to understand the interplay between environmental and genetic risk factors for depression among the population of Pakistan.
 

DIVERGE is part of the Pakistan Alliance on genetic RisK factors for Health (PARKH). In addition to DIVERGE (major depression), it includes a study on schizophrenia (Gen-SCRIP) and bipolar disorder (Gen-BLIP).
